The Image
Exploring in Betws-y-coed in October 2019, we decided to walk up to Swallow falls. The amount of rain that had fallen meant the falls in Betws-y-Coed were heavy. We set off from the falls, following the boardwalk along the river and through the trees and the wooded dell.
We picked up the track down to the river and walked along it through the meadows, climbing up to the Miners’ Bridge. We crossed here to walk the other side of the riverbank, before climbing the steps out of the gorge we stopped for half an hour and I captured this Image. We just had a little sun breaking through which gave some lovely little rainbows.
After we carried on up the river onwards to Swallow falls.
